Dr. Brücher is married and has two daughters. He enjoys sports and dedicates his leisure time to playing music with his band.
Dr. Brücher has a degree in chemistry after having studied in Mainz, Berlin and Frankfurt. After gaining experience as a scientist in Hoechst and Aventis, he changed to the area of business development and licensing at Biotest AG. Presently he is at Evonik AG. For more than 16 years, he has worked in chemicals, pharma and biotech with research and development cooperations, development services and license deals. He is a specialist in partnering, deal making, negotiations and contract design.
