Xsight Optics is a German medical technology company based in Erfurt, Germany, founded in 2021 to establish itself as a new technology platform in the healthcare sector using artificial intelligence (AI)-based technology.

Xsight Optics aims to develop optical sensors for the contactless measurement of health parameters in medical and healthcare related fields. The core product of Xsight Optics is a portable electronic sensor for the contactless acquisition of health data. This mobile sensor can derive various health parameters from optical infrared images through a clever combination of optical technology, microelectronics and AI-supported algorithms. For example, medical staff can record heart rate, oxygen saturation, temperature and respiratory rate contactlessly at a safe distance and transfer them directly to an electronic patient record. The portable device from Xsight Optics is alsoi deal for applications in the security sector. Non-contact measurement methods are particularly relevant in the interaction between people or groups of people, especially in times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, the project is in the preclinical stage with the focus on protoype development.
