Prof. Michael B. Klein spans the link between economics, science and politics. He has gained expert knowledge in the field of technology and politics advisory. He has also provided consulting services to the German government in technology innovations. From 2010 to 2017, he served as general secretary and member of the executive committee of the German Academy of Science and Engineering (acatech). He led the department of public policy and government affairs of Robert Bosch Ltd. Prof. Klein teaches as an extraordinary professor of the Berlin Institute of Technology and is a guest lecturer of innovation management at the Berlin School of Economics and Law. He is also a member of several economic advisory boards.

Professor Ernst Th. Rietschel is a chemist and an immunologist. He dedicates his scientific life to translating results from fundamental research to clinical practice. From 1990 to 2006, he was a director at the research institute Borstel (Leibzig pulmonic centre) and from 2007 to 2011, he was the president of the Leipzig community which encompasses more than 90 institutes. Prof. Rietschel founded the Berlin Institute of Health (BIH). He is also a member of several national and foreign industrial committees.

Prof. Dr. Hans-Georg Rammensee is a German immunologist and cancer researcher. He has been Chair Professor and Head of the Department of Immunology at the University of Tübingen since 1996. Prof. Dr. Hans-Georg Rammensee has contributed essentially to the research fields of MHC biology and tumor immunology and to the development of cancer immunotherapies.

The scientific focus of Professor Dr. Johannes Schumacher is the elucidation of the genetic causes of multifactorial diseases. The focus of his work is neuropsychiatric, oncological and immunological diseases as well as congenital malformations. After completing his medical studies at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen, Prof. Schumacher worked for many years as a scientist at the Institute of Human Genetics at the University of Bonn and at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda.

Due to his research achievements, he won the Ziskind-Sommerfeld Research Award of the Society of Biological Psychiatry in 2006 and the PRO-SCIENTIA-Förderpreis of the Eckhart-Buddecke Foundation in 2014. In 2007, Prof. Schumacher was also selected for the NIH/DFG Research Career Transition Awards Program. Since 2018, Prof. Schumacher has been head of the Institute of Human Genetics at Marburg University Hospital.

After his medical degree and his qualification as an orthopedist, Dr. med Ralf Oettmeier completed additional qualifications in the field of pain therapy, manual medicine, naturopathic treatment, homeopathy, acupuncture and neural therapy. Dr. med Ralf Oettmeier is involved in activities in the field of integrative biological medicine, carcinosis, rheumatic and autoimmune as well as neurological diseases. He is co-founder of the clinic for biological medicine CLINIC in LIFE. Since 2014, he has been living in Switzerland and is a medical director of the clinic for integrative medicine and dentistry Alpstein Clinic in Gais/AR. He is a great advocate for the systemic treatment with procaine with a broad indication field and has several national and international educational functions.

Prof. Dr. med. Uwe R. Reuter completed his medical studies at the University of Greifswald with a diploma and a doctorate in orthopaedics in 1991. Since 1996 he has been an algesiologist/DGS and pain therapist as well as head of the Regional Pain Centre Greiz/Vogtland of the German Society for Pain Medicine. He is head of the section for homeopathy at the Academy for Medical Training in Thuringia and has a license to train in the area of homeopathy, naturopathic treatment and specific pain therapy.

He is also holding additional qualifications in the area of acupuncture, neural therapy and palliative medicine. Today he works as Medical Director/Head Physician and Managing Director of the CLINIC in LIFE, the academy in LIFE for Holistic Medicine, the Institute for Innovative Medicine, Research and Communication and the pain practice Gartenweg in Greiz, Germany.

Dr. Christoph Brücher holds a degree in chemistry and studied in Mainz, Berlin, and Frankfurt. After initial positions as a scientist at Hoechst and Aventis Group, he transitioned to the field of Business Development and Licensing, first at Biotest AG as Director of Business Development and then at Evonik AG in the BL Health Care as Head of Global Business Development and Contracts. Currently, Dr. Brücher, as Vice President, oversees the Business Transformation & Licensing department at Hovione. For more than 20 years, he has been engaged in the fields of chemistry, pharma, and biotech with research and development collaborations, development services, and licensing businesses and is a specialist in partnering, dealmaking, negotiations, and contract design.
